Surbhi Jain, who has 50,000 followers, shared her cancer struggle with her followers with commendable transparency. The influencer continued to create and share her content while traveling to the apparently endless rounds of chemotherapy. However, Surbhi’s tumor reappeared three times, and on the third occasion, she ultimately perished from its effects.
After going quite some time without posting on her Instagram account, Surbhi finally shared something. The influencer had revealed that she wasn’t really able to provide any positive news. The influencer was hospitalized for the final two months of her cancer battle. Surbhi had been denied nourishment and kept on a constant IV drip for the final month of her life. Surbhi Jain was only thirty years old when she passed away. According to media sources, her family conducted her final rituals in Ghaziabad on April 19.
“Shattered but not giving up”
The letters Surbhi Jain shared with her fans through her updates show that she had been hoping to overcome cancer. The influencer had written a letter addressed to 2024, wishing that the remaining months would treat her better than 2023 had. “Broken but still going strong” is how Surbhi ended the note.
On February 23, Surbhi posted her most recent social media update, informing her followers of her rapidly declining health. A passage from the update said, “I just want this to end because it’s difficult.” A few weeks later, Surbhi passed away from the effects of her illness.

With a substantial following on Instagram, Ms. Jain was undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer. In her last Instagram post, Surbhi Jain shared a picture of herself eight weeks earlier in the hospital.
“provided how many messages I receive regarding my health every day, I realize I haven’t provided you all an update, which bothers me. Still, not everything has gone according to plan. So, not much needs to be disclosed. For most of the last two months, I have been in the hospital. She had written: “I just want this to end, but treatment is ongoing, and it’s difficult.”
Her family updated her official social media accounts with the news of her passing. According to them, she passed away on Thursday and was cremated in Ghaziabad on April 19.
For the second time, Surbhi Jain was diagnosed with cancer. She underwent a major operation at the age of 27 following her original diagnosis. “I had 149 stitches and was very uncomfortable after the procedures,” she said. “To keep myself busy and face each day with a smile, I create content today,” the influencer said following her procedure.
Ovarian cancer is one type of cancer that originates in the ovaries and is highly dangerous for the health of women. The disease’s characteristic is a malignant tumor that is expanding and killing healthy ovarian tissues. It is the third most common cancer in women in India, behind breast and cervical cancer, and causes more deaths than any other gynecological condition.
